What you’ll see
Located on the Pacific side, the Miraflores Visitors Center puts you right in front of the original locks. Watch container ships transit up close — one of the most impressive engineering spectacles in the world.
A 650-foot nature sanctuary rising from the middle of Panama City. The highest point in the city, with breathtaking views of the skyline, the port, and the Canal. Despite being surrounded by urban development, Ancon Hill has kept its wilderness — sloths, tamarins, coatis, and armadillos are regular sightings along the trail.
A stunning 6km road connecting Panama City to the Causeway Islands — built from rock excavated during the Canal’s construction. Today it’s a popular boardwalk with panoramic views of the city skyline and ocean. The best spot for photos, especially at sunset.

Take the full day tour! You won't regret it. Perfect for seeing many highlights in one day. Ancon Hill incredible views and sloth sightings made it worth it. Walking around Casco Viejo was a treat! The guides were personable, helpful, and accommodating.

Great way to see Panama City with teens. We had a wonderful experience on our full-day private tour. Our guide was fantastic, extremely knowledgeable, and timed everything perfectly. From pickup to getting us to Ancon Hill before the heat, to timing the Panama Canal movie and visit, we saw everything in action. Highly recommend pre-paying the canal.
