Navigate Lake Gatun / Panama Canal on a private boat to various islands where you will get the chance to see wild animals*. You will experience close encounters with residents of the Panama Canal & Gatun Lake, such as the capuchin and the Geoffroy’s tamarin monkeys along with a variety of bird species, reptiles and much more.
Additional activities can be added to this tour during the booking process (extra fees apply):
A visit to Summit Park & Rescue Center: Enhance your tour by adding a stop at the Summit Park & Rescue Center located within the lush greenery of the Soberania National Park. You’ll get the chance to see rescued animals such as sloths, jaguars, toucans, macaws among others and the harpy eagles, national bird of Panama. This option will add an extra 2 hours to your total tour time.
A visit to the Sloth Sanctuary & Nature Exhibits: Add this amazing stop at the Gamboa Sloth Sanctuary & Nature Exhibits where you’ll get the chance to see a sloth rescue center along with 3 nature exhibits (frogs, orchids & butterflies). This option will add an extra 2 hours to your total tour time.
Add both visits with a lunch stop: Visit both the Summit Part and the Sloth Sactuary. This option also includes a stop for lunch: our guide will make a few suggestions and will take you to the restaurant of your choice. LUNCH COST NOT INCLUDED ($). This option will add an extra 5 hours to your total tour time.

We loved seeing the sloths at the sloth sanctuary and going on the boat in Gamboa to look for monkeys, crocodiles, etc. Our guide was friendly and did a good job especially since he had to take over when our original guide was in a car accident on his way to pick us up.
