This full day tour takes you deep into the jungles of Chagres river where the Embera indigenous tribes have lived for years.

Delve into the vibrant culture and breathtaking natural beauty of the Emberá people on this immersive tour of an authentic Embera village.

Nestled within the lush rainforests of the Chagres National Park, this unique journey into the heart of the Embera culture through the famous Chagres River offers a rare opportunity to connect with the Embera people, renowned for their rich traditions and deep spiritual connection to the natural world.

Accompanied by our knowledgeable guides, you’ll venture deep into the ancestral lands of the Embera, where you’ll witness vibrant ceremonies, traditional dances, and learn about their ancient customs, including intricate handicrafts and traditional medicine. This transformative encounter with the Embera community will leave you with a profound appreciation for their harmonious way of life and a deeper understanding of their enduring cultural heritage.

If water level permits, we’ll take you to a magnificent waterfall. (Bring a swimsuit and towel if you wish to swim.)

A traditional Embera lunch of fresh fried fish and plantains is included. (Chicken option available, but has to be notified upon booking.)

    Amazing and kind tour guide, going out of his way to make us feel comfortable and shared all about the history on the way.
