Nestled within the lush rainforests of the Chagres National Park, this unique journey into the heart of the Embera culture through the famous Chagres River offers a rare opportunity to connect with the Embera people, renowned for their rich traditions and deep spiritual connection to the natural world.

If water level permits, we’ll take you to a magnificent waterfall. (Bring a swimsuit and towel if you wish to swim.)

Amazing and kind tour guide, going out of his way to make us feel comfortable and shared all about the history on the way. The Embera people were so kind and welcoming and it is truly a once in a lifetime experience to see their way of life. Not to mention the forest is absolutely stunning it feels like you are on a whole diffent world.

A:After a scenic drive from Panama City, about 1h, you’ll board a traditional motorized dugout canoe that takes you upriver to the village. The ride usually lasts 20–30 minutes depending on water levels.
